💡 his = de él · her = de ella · their = de ellos.

⚠️ Errores comunes

  • ❌ She is brother → ✅ She is his sister.
  • ❌ Ana brother → ✅ Ana’s brother (’s).

🧠 Recuerda: el posesivo concuerda con el poseedor, no con el objeto: her brother (de ella).

3) Posesión con ’s

  • Nombre propio + ’s: Ana’s brother, Tom’s mother.
  • Plurales regulares + s’: the teachers’ room.
  • De X → X’s: el libro de Ana → Ana’s book.

4) Errores frecuentes

  • ❌ She is brother → ✅ She is his sister.
  • ❌ Ana brother → ✅ Ana’s brother.
  • ❌ Confundir his/her.

Preguntas frecuentes

¿Puedo usar of en lugar de ’s?

Sí, sobre todo con cosas: the name of the book, pero con personas es más natural usar ’s.

¿Cuándo uso their?

Para posesión de varias personas: Their parents are from Mexico.
